PlayMagic Ltd set up expansion going Public on the Swedish Stock Exchange
Malta Based Development Studio expands its operation
Valletta, Malta – May 8th , 2018 – PlayMagic Ltd, one of the biggest game development studio in the country , is proud to announce the start of the second phase of expansion. The company will both strengthen its base at home as well as expanding its presence overseas.
PlayMagic AB is the new entity created in partnership with Gaming Corps Board (Nasdaq: GCOR), which will trade on the Swedish Stock Exchange with the ultimate goal of expanding the team and create new development opportunities. The goal is for PlayMagic AB (publ) to be listed on the Swedish MTF trading spot within the fourth quarter of 2018.

With Gaming Corps next to us, we will continue to pursue that strategy, creating another long term alliance that gives us immediate access to new business opportunities.”
Formed in 2014, PlayMagic Ltd has spent the first four years working on games across Console, Personal Computers, Virtual Reality platforms, and Mobile devices. Under Crugliano’s leadership and his 20 years of experience in the Industry, the company has built its reputation working on Oculus, Apple, Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft platforms developing games based on both original and Licensed IPs from multinationals such Turner Broadcasting, PineWood Studios, Studio Canal and Universal just to name a few.
PlayMagic currently has about 30 talented professionals and has been working with Gaming Corps as a development partner on a GameMill’s project that began in January 2018. PlayMagic already has an existing base in Sweden, with part of its business development team operating from within the country, as well as from the United States.
“We’ve made significant progress since 2014, but our vision for the next few years is even bolder,” adds Crugliano. “We have some exciting new games projects based on triple A IPs in consolidated partnerships to be announced later this year.”
